Türkiye İstatistik Kurumu (TÜİK) tarafından açıklanan temmuz ayı verileri, Türkiye ekonomisindeki iyimserliğin kritik bir psikolojik eşiğe dayandığını

Data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) for July reveals that optimism in the Turkish economy is touching a critical psychological threshold. The economic confidence index rose by %0.9 month-on-month from 98.9 to 99.8, indicating that the economy is just one step away from the 100-point barrier, which is considered significant for the economic outlook.
Rising Optimism in Consumer Sentiment
The most distinct signal of recovery in the economy comes from the consumer confidence index. The rise in confidence among consumers has continued for two consecutive months, heralding a revival on the demand side.Asymmetric Movement in Industry and Services
Despite the improvement in the general outlook, economic activity appears to follow a fragmented trajectory across different sectors. The rise in services and construction was balanced by declines in the real sector and retail. The slight decline in real sector confidence (manufacturing industry) may signal a degree of caution regarding short-term production capacity and inventory management investments in capital-intensive sectors like automotive and heavy industry. While the strong recovery on the consumer side revives demand, the production side's inability to fully reflect this morale yet could create a lag in the supply-demand balance over time. However, the strong performance of 112 in the services sector supports expectations of a revival in logistics and after-sales services.
